Here are a few tips you can try to help you possibly avoid having to schedule a service call:
1.Check your thermostat – make sure it is on the proper setting and you do not mistakenly have it in the “off” position.
2.Check your air filter – make sure you change them regularly so they do not get clogged, as your system will have to work harder. Replace the filter if it is dirty.
3.Check your outdoor unit – make sure you do not have shrubs or bushes too close to the unit it can restrict and block airflow to outside units.
4.Check your breakers or electric fuses – make sure the breaker(s) that powers your HVAC system is not in the “off” position or the fuse(s) are not blown. This is one of the first things our service technician will check. If your breaker is “tripped” or your fuse is “blown” you have saved yourself a service call.
5. Check the outside switch if your unit has one – make sure it was not accidentally moved to the “off” position.
We hope these tips will be helpful. However, if you find these have not solved the problem, please contact us to set up a service call to your home.
